Upcoming:
This year, I will hold a guest lecture at the EPSI Lecture Series at 28.04.2026. The Lecture will be live-streamed online – I will include the Link as soon as it is available. The lecture is titled „Linking loneliness and social isolation to political participation and attitude formation“
Also, I will join the fifth conference conference „Gemeinsam aus der Einsamkeit“ in Berlin. The conference takes place 22.06.2026. There, I will contribute to the event holding a brief presentation and moderate the following discussion in a workshop called „Wenn Einsamkeit die Gesellschaft spaltet – Gefahr für unsere Demokratie?“.

I try to take part in academic conferences on a regular basis. A more extensive list can be found in my Curriculum Vitae. For instance, I was invited to speak at the annual conference of the German Ethic Council about the social and political implications of loneliness. The event took place in 19 Jun 2024 in Berlin.
Likewise, I presented at the third conference „Gemeinsam aus der Einsamkeit“ organised by the „competence network loneliness“ and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth 17 Jun 2024. For some impressions, you can watch the recordings of selected moments.
